HAPPILY EVER AFTER

The two, who became lovers as free individuals in a third country, face a choice for their future as their Australian visas expire. In her boyfriend's hometown, which she briefly visits during a couple's vacation in Indonesia, she receives grand hospitality from his family. She should be happy with her lover who loves her, her boyfriend's kind family, and even the surprise event he prepared, but she continues to feel instinctive anxiety.

SINN Kirin is a Seoul-based director, screenwriter, and visual arts planner with a decade of experience in advertising. A graduate of Korea National University of Arts, she is currently pursuing a Master's in Filmmaking at LUCA School of Arts, Belgium.

Her debut short, O Ki-in's Sin, Misattribution (2014), won multiple awards, including the Jury Grand Prize at the Chungmuro Short Film Festival, and was recognized at major Korean film festivals. Her latest work, Abnormal Prime Time (2021), premiered at the Minikino Bali International Short Film Festival and was screened at several international festivals, winning the Editing Award at the 12th Chungmuro Short Film Festival.

A 2022 graduate of BIFAN Fantastic Film School, Kirin is now developing her first feature, Maiden Home, which has received accolades from NAFF IT Project Market, Talent Tokyo, and BIFFF Fantastic Pitchbox, including the VIPO Award.
